No kids this weekend!

I’m so excited!  I actually slept in till 9:45 this morning!  It is so nice not having to worry about anything but myself!  Dh asked me yesterday if I minded if he went to a friend’s house till late last night.  What!?  Not have to worry about him either!  Wow!!!  Of course you can go!

We had a great time shopping yesterday till I got sick.  It was no fun running through a big city Target toward the bathrooms trying not to barf.  I was just thinking, “Where would be a good place to throw up?…the kitchen dept. is closer, maybe I could grab a bowl.  Would they still charge me for it?  Not broken… ”  Luckily I made it to the restroom without upchucking in the middle of the store on the busiest shopping day of the year!  Oh yeah, then it went away. Ugh!  At least give me glory of making the trip worth it!

Snot sucks!

Actually, it doesn’t.  It just sits there in my nose unwilling to go anywhere but slowly drip down and out. UGH!!!  DS1 seems to have forgotten how to Poo on the potty.  Good thing I can’t smell anything.  The bad thing is since I can’t sniff it out, who knows where it’s at.  I’ll just let the dog get it.

Well, I finally got a blog!  Those are the words everyone writes when they jump on the bandwagon, so I just had to be cool, too.    So anyway, “Hi!” to the 6 or 7 people who are actually reading this.  And by the way, thanx for being such a great family!  I think this bloggin’ stuff is gonna drive me nuts ’cause I’m such a grammar fanatic!  Everytime I get typing and the words get flowing, I have to go back and fix a comma or apostrophe, or google “grammar rules.”  That sucks!

I feel like I should introduce myself, but again, I doubt anyone’s gonna read this that I don’t know.  However, I’m just a goofy stay at home mommy who wanted to show her dh how cool she is by blogging. =)  Maybe I’ll be able to get some of those silly, inappropriate thoughts out of my head.  You know, the ones that make you laugh out loud at funerals.  (Or maybe you don’t know…)

I guess I’m s’posed to write about what I’m doing today.  It’s a Saturday, and I’m about to drive a little south and play at a Christmas lighting.  Then I’ll come back here and take the boys (yup, dh included) to the lighting ceremonies here.  I think Aidan will love it! …Though I’m usually wrong. =)

We were discussing all the internet slang and abbreviations the other day, and I know the 6 of you reading this probably aren’t familiar with them, so I’ll make my blog educational!  Every post we’ll learn a new abbreviation/slang!  How fun!!!

BTW, if I haven’t shared it with you, check out this riddle site!  www.weffriddles.com  Dh became an internet widower for several days while I knocked it out.  They’re the best riddles I’ve ever found!!!  (and don’t be fooled by the 1st 10.)
